Hey, just wondering if any of you guys listen to Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" internet radio episodes at all? I really liked one of his sets after hearing it once somewhere and wanted to hear more of them, and I found them all (or the most recent 200 episodes or so) in a playlist on imeem.com. So I could just listen to them whenever I wanted, which was cool and all. But then when Myspace bought out imeem and screwed everything over, I can no longer access a playlist of Armin's A State of Trance episodes anymore via a stream.

Anyone out there know of some site with a stream or like a playlist of his episodes at all? I would like to be able to listen to them without actually having to download each episode manually to my harddrive as that would take up quite a bit of space (2 hrs each episode!!!!).

Thanks guys!

Mike

i download them every week...my "ASOT" folder is almost 100gbs right now ...its the best thing ever for people that like trance music...only the best and newest songs and mixes :D
"trance around the world" from above and beyond is also pretty good

i dont know any websites but heres a list of internet radio stations that play them http://www.astateoftrance.com/stations/

i think digitally imported plays it first online

Quote:
Online:
Digitally Imported Radio (http://www.di.fm) every Thursday 2PM US Eastern / 7PM UK / 20:00 Central European Time on the Trance channel.

i have also seen armin a few times in clubs and at sensation white...hes fcking amazing

Haha lol yeah, I think I read somewhere that 30 million people listen to his broadcasts or something! Now that's a lot of people!

I've got the digitally imported trance station in my iTunes radio folder and try to listen to it if I can! I love it too, but I guess I might just have to start doing what you're doing - downloading them!!!

Thanks anyways!

Mike

well if you see "ASOT" somewhere in the title or description then its most likely ripped from the radio show
and there is a difference between the radio and the podcast
armin van buuren has a podcast too yes but the a state of trance radio show is something else

To save some space downloading you could try the shortened podcast from itunes. Or download the proper radio version and just delete it when you've listened to it! As Delusion mention Trance Around the world by Above and Beyond is another good trance podcast.

I suppose, just to be able to listen to them I guess. I really don't know why Myspace killed Imeem though. It was a great place to be able to listen to music (and playlists) and now I can barely navigate around that site. What a shame.

And.....4 TB!!!! That's awesome!! And your friend with 10 TB, just about full?!!! There's piracy at it's finest .

Hey PlayGig - that is really beautiful music. It so much reminds me of the old western films.

It also strongly reminds me of the panflute/panpipe music from Peru and Bolivia.

The panpipes seem to be all over the world - they produce a truly lovely sound in all sizes.
