I'm using a logitech analog controller for all vehicles at the moment. Its not going well as for some reason the analog sticks don't work in BF2, or the setup menu keeps telling me i'm using duplicate controls where i'm not. Because of that i end up with button layouts i don't want or don't work.
I can use the D-Pad for steering ground vehicles but that doesn't do for aircraft, so if you see me going for an aircraft steer clear, run away...dive for cover! its nether pretty.

Just for walking around and so on.. i use the mouse and keyboard, so i play the game in combination like that.

The reason being is i don't like using the keyboard to control vehicles, i find it clumsy with a bit of a lack of control, using 3 fingers to move in 8 axis directions is almost impossible, who thought that would be a good idea?

How do you guys do it? Oh and leave my poor Tank alone, yes i am a Tank whore and every time i get in one it gets wiped out by some **** Twat in a Jet, I killed a few of you with the main gun tho... :P

Yep I still use the keyboard for flying Jets, and I use the Mouse/Keys for flying Choppaz...
(I'm still a Pro Noob when flying Jets with Mouse'n'Keys)
But time and practise has made me a half decent Choppa Pilot :)

Have you checked your settings via Windows "Control Panel/Game Controllers" ???

Yes, it also comes with its own fancy and useless software, it all looks as it should.

i'm going reset the settings for key board, i'm also finding that i can't move the turret on my Tank while moving because that doesn't work from the analog either... dropping the controller while scrambling for the mouse to move the turret in the direction of that incoming Jet noise isn't working well lol... so sod it.

i might as well ditch it and get used to the keyboard, it probably will end up better that way :)

Thanks
