Eyy guys i'm having trouble getting my basic aviator badge, i am a real unco at flying jets any tips??

Just takes lots of practice and a little natural talent. Practice on empty servers or single-player. Have you got a joystick or are you using mouse/keyboard. Joystick is easier, more natural for starting out. Some of the real pro's can use the m/k like nobody's business.

There are also a bunch of threads already covering this topic. You should look for them and do a lot of reading.

HAHA nope didnt work i did manage to work out the missiles on the jets and how they shoot =] I got a few kills with that but one of the funniest things I saw, today, on a Wake server, was a guy called DEATH_OWNAGE_ACE, and it was so obvious he had a hack for dropping nukes at the exact right time to kill about 5 people and he did this around the carrier the whole round and ended up with a score of about 230+ points lol and just by looking at his stats, i would say hes been stat padding a little too much.

If you're just going for basic, you could go on a map with bombers, like Oman or Oilfields, and ride as the gunner with a good pilot. That's how I earned my basic (I had no clue how to fly at the time).

Otherwise, just keep up the practice and you'll be able to fly a plane plenty long enough in a round.

Ahh sweet cheers mate, but by "ride around as a gunner" u mean a jet or ATK chopper??

In a jet. Several of the jets are two-seaters. The bomber models like the Su-34, F-15 (I think). Other people here can clarify that.

Maps that have bomber models besides the one-seaters are Gulf of Oman (if you're MEC), Darqing Oilfields, Zatar Wetlands. I forget which, if any, for Armored Fury and Euro Forces maps.

Someone else can hopefully fill in the details I missed. I remember I was playing on Zatar Wetlands and spent the whole round as the "gunner", had the laser missiles to shoot (though I wasn't very good with them). I got the time in easily, plus had a load of driver kill assists because he was a good pilot.

Good idea. Come on my server some night and you can ride b**ch with me in the bomber on Oman, Clean Sweep, or Daqing! We will clean house! I'll even line you up for some shots!

Wait just went on a random Ministers Of Death Wake server and jumped in a jet and got my Basic Aviator Badge plus my Aviator Service Ribbon =] double whammy

ok ok i got a great tip if you end up being chinese on wake (thats if you find a server) then use the j10 its very menuverable and very easy to kill the F35 so if your good at flying then use it

I earned my basic by.. taking the jet and flying round the edge of the map (dragon valley) for 20 mins

I shot down 4 planes and didnt die once, I was proud.

haha that is the easiest i must say but i got mine in wake island flying the j10 for 20 mins and shooting down about 6 F35's before dieing haha
