I got this game a few weeks ago but I haven't been bothered to do any of the missions, only the training.

Has anyone here played this game ... the idea seems so good, but from what I've played/seen, the developers have messed it up a little bit.

Feedback anyone?

The engine noises in the Jeeps are funny in that game, why's it so hard to get right  just put some gears in there.

i have played it for hours loved every minute. maybe they need to fixa few things here and there but hey it was great. Multiplayer is prolly the best for the game when you got good teammates and friends to talk to during gameplay so yeah i like the game alot and love using the sound mods

ArmA 3 is coming out soon, but graphics look like shit imo compared to other (tactical) shooters these days, check trailers on gametrailers.com.

One game I'm waiting for in particular is Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising, looks promising.
I hope there's a lot of tactics involved and realism has gone up a notch, but for now it looks like that'll be the case. Will be released autumn this year.

You mean ArmA 2 which is out in 2 weeks for everywhere esle apart from Germany where it was released last week.
And garphics are far from shit, infact if they were much further away they would be on the damn moon. OPF:DR does look very good, but it isnt gonna be a realstic as ArmA 2.

It's ArmA 3 bud, check their website.
Here's a link to the latest trailer, http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09 ... army/50906
Look how crappy the animations are, and sure it's more realistic than OFP, but I can't recall saying it wasn't.
Anyway, it's for free so that's nice. But me ain't going to play it, I'll just stick to BF2 for now.. ;)
