Hi all, guess what ive got another problem....

Just finished building my new PC to find that on boot three red lights are on on the back of my graphics card, specs below....

Can anyone help? im desperate, cheers peeps

AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 black edition
Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P AM3 mobo
Samsung EcoGreen 1TB HDD
Coolermaster Silent pro 700w modular psu
Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Coolermaster Storm Scout Case
And the problem card XFX ATI HD 4890 Graphics card.

And you have checked that they are not just for decoration? Does the card malfunction, your not giving us much info here.

sry dude, they arent for decoration they are fault LED's, i have found they relate to a power problem, i think i have sorted it, a friend realised one of the soldered connectors on the bk of the mobo was loose causing it to touch the case thus shoting it out, we think its sorted but only time will tell, Thx tho

I'd send it back for a new one, if something on the card itself was 'loose'.

I have the same card and had the same problem when I installed mine.
If I recall correctly it was one of my power cables touching the videocard which automatically made the fans spin like hell to prevent overheating.
Think there are sensors on the pcb of the vidcard which detect contact with other devices/cables etc, pretty cool stuff though.
