Seen a chuffing great billboard poster saying release date 28th Oct !!!

Release date was confirmed a few weeks ago already.
Europe's release date is again a bit later than the release in the US..

Unless they decide they can make more money by releasing it around Christmas, in which case it will be delayed.

Will never happen, although it would be funny, with the downside being pissing alot of people off.

Infact the best time to release games (according to sales) is around Easter time, with late summer (Northerm Hemisphere), being second. Christmas belive it or not, is not the best time to make game sales.
Also, EA/DICE have to release it before MW3, or sales would suffer bigtime.

It's odd that a European firm (DICE although owned by EA), makes a US release, even if only by a few days, before a European release. Need some worldwide releases, so everyone gets it the same time.

yea, was in a server the othernight and one of the scrolling message's was "we will be hosting bf3 server on oct 25th". so it seems it will be here before christmas, yay! I never understood the delay/ diff dates of release for games myself, let's just hope it's similiar to bf2 in gameplay and the level of fun.

BC2 says that it comes 25 but i remember see a vid which says it comes 28... but 28 might be a europe day..
