I'm concerned with the BC2 references. BF2 maps and BC2 graphics and gameplay will be an instant fail as BC2 is unplayable to anyone who knows a decent game.

Two classes own the rest and unless you play medic or sniper it is a waste of time. I snapped my disk to make sure I never make the mistake of playing it ever again it is so bad.

If they take BF2 maps and gameplay and BC2 graphics it should work, ironing out the nade and claymore spammers, bunnyhoppers, prone one shot kills, dolphin divers, weakness of AA and invincibility of aircraft, and self repairing armour engineers it could be the game BF2 should have been.

They have had 5 years to learn what is wrong with the original BF2 and could fix it to make the best FPS out there, I'm playing BF2 again after a year and compared to BC2 it is perfect even with all its faults.

If they just create a console version of BF2 it will fail miserably as it will be too dumbed down.

I've looked at Black Ops and between the bugs and potential of a console port I am going to leave it at least 6 months before I even look at it again. It has poor write ups on Metacritic from users on both.

my thoughts on this
as alot of people on the EA forums want bf3 to be like bf2 gameplay with better graphics this
is EA's answer even though it has bc2 guns.
battlefield 3 on the PC is going to be a dumbed down console version,
with probably server browser how lame.

i'm a often player of Bf2 for my computer(laptop) doesn't have good graphics and can't play much else.
So i have to stick with older games such as bf2.

Anyways, i'm a beta player on this game, and honestly, you gotta give it a chance.
There are problems, somethings can be overpowered, but in general, its a good game. has a lot of lag, but you get through it and have fun.
Every game has its problems but nothings perfect. now i didn't get to play BC2, and i do agree, the best kits are medic and sniper, but i get killed all the time by engineer and assult, yeah i'm a noob in the game, but so? i play medic most, and get decent kills and scores, usually positive KDR's that aside, every kit is good. Every kit has advantages the others don't.

In my opinion, give the game a chance because i love it, the lag sucks but oh well, i play through it.
Some things can be fixed, but its just a beta at this point in time, they got months to fix the things that need fixing, so go sign up, its really good, but this is all my opinion.
