Just seen a couple of articles on the BBC about gaming which i thought were interesting

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7052420.stm this ones about an open gaming platform, which will run any game from a top box like device in your living room. Cant see microsoft, sony and nintendo agreeing to make an open, standard platform.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7030234.stm

another one about how games are influencing work. Some companies are making working more like games, earning coins for sending emails etc. sounds a bit world of war craft for me. Next thing they will be dressing up as elfs for the team building days !!

Well thats a couple of interesting ideas. I wouldnt mind only having to buy one system, but i really dont see Nintendo Sony and Microsoft coming together for that. And the job leaderboard seems a little different.
