@CyFA For things like the chipset i would probably leave alone, but i had togo find the realtek drivers for me HD sound before i could set that up properly, those and i would say graphics drivers should be all yo need to update.

cool ill update gfx & sound drivers frist then try to reload BF etc, if that fails then it'll be mobo drivers next

I am running Windows7 with BF2 no problems, running the 64 bit OS and just got 64 bit gfx & sound drivers and MS updates get your Mobo's. Any programs you load that is not 64 bit will just run its normal 32 bit. Running it for over 2 week now and smooth as Glass, love it!

I too am back on vista, again w7 loaded bf2 loaded and runs but i cannot get setpoint to work properly so i have restored using my Vista image, going to log a call with logitech support see what happens !
