Not sure if you have seen this as yet but there is a fix for the Alt+Tab problem

Hi! I downloaded the patch twice but both times it doesnt start up to patch :cry:

Someone knows why or how to fix it ?

Have you tried opening it as an administrator?
Also try downloading it from a different mirror

It might take a while before it starts.

Patch 1.41 takes about a minute to start with me, while patch 1.50 is almost immediate.

I tried different mirror but both wont start up , also reinstalled bf2 +patch 1.41 but it wont start 1.50.
And how do i open as administrator?
Iv waited about 10 minutes before it to start.

Right mouse click, run as administrator.

hi guys not played bf2 in a while been playing bfh , getting back to bf2 today im doing a clean install and was wondering can i patch straight to 1.50 or do i have to go through all of the other patches first ?? . Thanks

First install 1.41 and then install 1.50, that's all.

Hello people,

I download 1.41 and upgraded the BF2 to BF 2 1.41 patch. But yesterday, when I install 1.5, at around %30, it gives an error named as "catastrophic error" and the instal didn't resume. The game also didn't start. Do you guys have any idea why I had such an error ? Can it be because of my system ?

P4 2.66 1 GB RAM, 6600 GT AGP, 10 GB free space (out of 80 GB).

Kindly answer so that I decide what to do's.

One final thing, do I get ranked if I play in 1.41 mode ?

Only thing i can suggest is to uninstall BF2 completely an clean ur registry then reinstall an start again. The game has lots of little annoyances like tht ....

As for playing on 1.41 servers ... No you will not receive rank points or unlocks for playing on any version other than the latest patch 1.5
