Curious what most people think is the number one addition/change that needs to happen for BC2?

Personally I'd like to see some of the BF2 refinements return, such as the BattleRecorder and mod support.

Decrease the power of the nade launchers, improve the helicopter/UAV controls, bring back the "command rose", remove the magnum ammo upgrade and just increase the weapon damage in general, add firemode selection (single, burst etc.), add health bar and remove regenerating health, add lean function.

Mostly i'd like to see DICE to do something to thwart those goddamn noobtubers that infest almost every server out there

Ive always thought bots on empty servers would be better than standing around trying to start a server.

Okay calm down, take a deep breath and do what DaHappyCamper said, seriously. I also think that BC2 is pretty awesome game and it definitely beats MW2 imo, but there are still some problems with the game, e.g. the server browser is still somewhat messed up, i just voiced my opinion what DICE/EA should still bring back/fix in BC2. And to answer to your question, i've played BC2 about 16 hours so far in total, not much i know but thats because i also still play BF2, CoD4, CoD WaW and TF2.

make it easier to see your fallen teammates bodies. i have trouble finding them sometimes it seems like they are almost see through. sometimes i have to just look on my rader and try n guess where they are and revive. umm more maps! this game lacks maps even with the new map pack its still too few. have blackhawks on conquest mode. more game modes like ffa? non of these are the most sought out feature they're just what came to my mind. im done thinking now maybe ill return with that.

fix the friend list. you can only have 20 people on it and you cant join on friend on friendlist place 11-20 (just says couldnt find any games)

for me the game is nice.. weapons are balanced (every class have the overpowered one) - soldier nade launcher, medic m60, recon arty+M25, Eng bazookas

but the MAJOR bug (and I hate it) is the K:D ratio - if some enemy shoot you down and a teammate ressurrect you, you loose the streak. If you make 10\0 streak and someone shoot you down, no matter you get ressurrected or not, your ratio change to 10\1 - this sucks hard.

1. review weaps & aiming. sometimes the guy is just not playable, even if you are good, some people one-shot you from a *!ù^$ distance with a crap weapon while they are stand and moving and u simply don't understand. this kind of thing rarely happened on bf2, the guy had to be crouch or prone and has to headshot you so it was soo rare, and on bc2, it's everyday, everytime, noobs with m60 etc.. always shoot you so easily.

so actually, bc2 looks more like cod4 than bf2. bf2 required skills to shoot someone, technics etc. cod4 was one-shot one-kill crap. and bc2 now looks like....... cod4. i don't like that.

2. reduce power of certain guns (m60, m16, 40mm) or modify weapons like bf2 and add a prone button (i wonder how noobs in movement running can one-shot me with their light machine guns as medic from 1500km.. that ruins the game.)

4. remove some noise. sometimes, even with reduced noise in my headphones etc. when there are 30+ peeps on the server on a small map, then it's hardly playable after 2 hours of game. noise everywhere with tanks, mortars etc. it's really.. confusing for gaming. i KNOW this is WAR, conditions looks like real, but don't forget we are at home sitting behind our computer and too much noise makes you become crazy after playing.

5. remove a lil bit of fog. on some maps, there is too much fog and you can't see anything. it's boring.

well, in some words, BC2 has mostly nothing to compare with BF2. the game is great, but looks like COD4 for targets/killing. and that really dissapoint me, as many other bf2 players who reinstalled bf2 after testing bc2

I hate it when there is lots of cover (sandbags etc.) BUT you just can get behind them safely when you head/upper body pokes out after crouching. Prone would be welcome and to maintain the "realisticness" then it should make the player fairly immobile so you just couldn't spam it in the middle of action. I got used to avoid proning in bf2 1.5, so this isn't a problem for me.

The spotting function is just totally not-working. I used to spot spam 24/7 in bf2 but in bad company 2 you never know when the spotting will work. Sometimes you can spot something that you can't really see behind bushes but sometimes the spotting doesn't register even if you had the crossahirs over the enemy on open ground for few second. Some magical cooldown, I guess. Or maybe you lose the ability if you try to spam like in bf2, but it is not informed.

I am not 100% sure about this one, cos I haven't got all of the guns and unlocks:
I think new players might have great disadvantage in the beginning cos you cannot use ~95% of the suff in game. For example, you can't have any scopes with your rifles ( except sniper rifles ). The initial weapons aren't actually bad, but might be that some of the mid-late unlocks are remarkably better. Maybe balancing a little so the new players won't get raped immediately and think that it is because old players have the best equipment.

Map zoom. The small map in corner doesn't just show enough, maybe 60ft radius? You have to open up the big map every time you want to see where the point of interest is located. If you had to cut down actions when you make console games for a controller that has ~8 buttons, this was probably a good one to spare. I would still think that computer gamers can handle any amount of keys you throw at them. Maybe it makes the designing harder, if you want to keep these things in mind.

When you suicide, it says "Epic fail". That is not funny, and besides very lame suicides are totally not epic.

Last but definately not least - frag throwing is horrible. Your character moves during the action so your aiming point changes during the action. Trying to throw a nade from/through a window is very annoying. This random moving happens in various situations and it makes aiming more difficult but I understand if someone would shake a little if a mortar strike hits next to you.

mmm make it bf2 with better graphics and better netcode = perfect game ?
meaby add some lean and some sort of small adjustments.

Shutdown all the servers, discontinue all Battlefield games and put all resources into BF2.

+ 1 or bf3... f that stupid port bc2 garbage..... we pc users dont play with a 360 controller...or have limited programmable movemets, like no prone....

The people who complain about nade launcher over powered, have they ever used one? I need all most a direct hit with them to kill, I have even shot in a group of medic/ revived person and only get one kill even though they litterly right on each other..


And the spotting, in 1.5 bf2 the spotting has its days too, I can spot someone 5 times before it registers the guy on my map. And there is also times when it just doesnt do anything, you press spot and it doesnt say or do anything.



This just reafirms my views of the crappy randomness of bf2, everyone installs the same game....

So, if BC2 wants to be great fix the damn randomness of the game play......
