I bought BF1943 on my PS3 and not having a dedicated server is just rubbish. You never know who you play against or with, the games become somehow meaningless and its impossible to get the feeling of community when you are constantly shuffled in with new players.
The 'Friends' option and other community options are no replacement for dedicated servers where you know who is probably online when joining.
Awful.

Can you unbalance the game any more than this??? This match lasted 4 freaking minutes, imagine how short match will be if someone is using hax (aimbot, wallhack etc). "Not balanced for lean", well my PC is not balanced for bs.
Oh and btw, theres been news that theres disc errors on the PC version of the game. Apparently PC version has two DVDs in it: first contains the game itself and the other contains extra material, probably "making of" videos, concept art and other bs that nobody really needs. It looks like this extra material DVD doesnt work. The game itself "appears" to work and even though its just extra DVD thats having these errors, i dont know about you, but if i buy a video game i would expect that no matter how shitty the game is (or extra material in this case) i would still expect them to work, especially now after we have to pay extra 10$ for it.

Okey, first that 25 killstreak is good so that if there is cheater and he kills all in the 2 minutes, and round dont go too far and he dont get a much points if he get somehow kicked in the server, well thats the only good news...

THEN the BAD NEWS:

1: What if there is some 24/7 players against 1/7 players, that dont take a long to get kills, and what then happens?? the new players go away beacuse they dont have a chance to kill him beacuse round ends too quickly, and rounds ends too quickly.

2. How much peoples enjoy if there is actyally good player, he maybe got kicked beacuse he is too darn good in that server and those players want to take long round..

Did you forget sgt._hapa that since theres no dedicated servers and therefore no admins? Since there will be no admins, only ones who can ban/kick players is IW itself (with VAC) and they only kick hackers and cheaters. VAC isnt any better then punkbusters, only truly effective and quick way to ban/kick players that are hacking or act like asshats (writing insulting/racist comments, TK on purpose etc) is to have good, active admins who get rid of these kind of idiots. VAC only kicks/bans players that hack/cheat.

Yes there are servers where admins abuse the power they have (kick players that are more skilled, make misjudgment etc), but thats better then having no admins at all. Think of it this ways: what would happen if all OF THE WORLDS police forces would be kicked from their jobs, just because theres few of them who take bribes and abuse their authoritah in order to gain advantage over everyone else??

That is exactly the reason why MW2 will epicly FAIL on PC. Consolekiddies that have never played on dedicated servers on PC (and i'm not saying youre one of them DerHUL, i happen to own Xbox myself) dont lose anything , they have gotten used to that P2P crap. If they would know how dedicated servers work and what benefits they have compared to the P2P system, they would be demanding them too.
