Killed already 1 user making 855 requests to the homepage, causing a 6Mbps peak :lol:

He joins the firewall now

Can you not put a connection limit filter on like limit each host to 10-12 connections then drop any attempts above
I say this as I have one in place on my Bluecoats as we were experiencing problems with multiple connection attempts from hosts on the inside !!
Turned out to be a number of things which when added together and compounded by the amount of users we have (20000 approx) was causing performance issues.

Yes, its probably possible. But I only have some basic linux skills, so I don't know yet.
